Plain Target Marketing markets directly to the Amish through a series of publications that are sent to nearly every Amish family in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Michigan – quite a niche. Since generally speaking, the Amish don’t use computers or the internet, their site is more geared towards potential advertisers readers of their publications.
I built their site using modern design elements such as flat typography and parallax sections. These features, combined with many the many old fashioned photos on the site, give users a sense of their unique position at the crossroads of tradition and the modern world.
